Six core services

01 / CORE

Press release distribution

Simultaneous delivery to 908 partner outlets — national dailies, business and industry papers, regional media. Each release is formatted for the receiving newsroom to maximize pickup.

02 / DIGITAL

Naver blog placement

Korean consumers search on Naver. We post your story on the NEWSON Naver blog so it appears in blog and mobile search as well as the news tab — included with mid-tier and above.

03 / EDITORIAL

Editorial advertising & interviews

CEO interviews, company features and product or service reviews written from a journalist’s perspective and placed in the matching section.

04 / CRISIS

Crisis response & corrections

When negative coverage or rumors appear, we push positive releases to move search results and, where justified, arrange corrections or rebuttal articles.

05 / SEARCH

Portal visibility

Keyword strategy and release timing for Naver and Daum integrated search, news tabs and related-search terms.

06 / COPY

Korean press release writing

Copywriters interview you (in English if needed) and draft the release in Korean news style, including headline options and an optimized lead paragraph.

Process

  1. 01Consultation & quote (same day) — your account executive learns the brand, goal and budget and sends a quote.
  2. 02Planning & writing (1–2 days) — key message → headline → Korean news-style draft → your approval.
  3. 03Outlet selection & distribution (1 day) — an outlet list matched to your industry and audience, submitted to newsrooms simultaneously.
  4. 04Publication report (2–24 h) — live article URLs delivered as they appear, with Naver search tracking.
  5. 05Follow-up — monitoring, secondary coverage, blog and social amplification.

What cannot go into a Korean news article

Since 2016 the portals’ news partnership committee bans advertising-style elements inside articles and images: phone numbers, URLs, street addresses, maps, email addresses, QR codes and social media handles. We will show you how to keep the message effective within these rules.
